Elizabeth Margaret Buchanan

Elizabeth Margaret Buchanan was born on July 25, 1903, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Claude Eugene Buchanan and Corinne Margaret Swift Her father was 31 years old at the time of her birth, and her mother was 22.

She graduated from Washington Seminary. In 1929, while traveling in Europe, she met Hugh Klemme Parker The two were married on September 13, 1930, in Atlanta.

Family Life

Following their marriage, Elizabeth moved with her husband to Montclair and later to Glen Ridge, New Jersey, where they raised their family.

Elizabeth and Hugh Klemme Parker had four children:
