William Tell Parker
(1821-1876)
William Tell Parker was born on May 16, 1821, in Clermont, Ohio, to Daniel Parker and Priscilla Mulloy. His father was 39 years old at the time of his birth, and his mother was 27.
He first married Ann Denman on October 10, 1849, in Birmingham, Ohio, at the age of 28. He later married Sarah Maria Aumond on December 25, 1860, in Sandusky, Ohio, at the age of 39.
Education and Early Career
William graduated from the Eclectic Medical College in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1847. Following his studies, he practiced medicine briefly in Birmingham, Ohio.
Like many of his generation, he was drawn westward by opportunity, traveling to the California gold fields. He spent two years in Marysville, California, before returning to Ohio.
Later Life and Work
After returning from California, William resided on a farm in Henry County, Ohio. In 1869, he moved south to Tracy City, Tennessee, where he spent his remaining years.

William Tell Parker and Ann Denman had two children:
